As Secretary of State John Kerry departed the region, a video has been released which sheds light on the Palestinian Authority’s true motive in demanding a peace agreement based on the 1967 borders: the eradication of the State of Israel in a step-by-step process.

In a Syrian satellite TV interview on December 23, 2013, Fatah Central Committee member Abbas Zaki said that accepting a Palestinian state within those borders is merely the first step in achieving “the inspiring idea.”

As reported by Israel National News, the interview was translated and posted to YouTube by the Israeli Research Institute’s Palestinian Media Watch (PMW).

When the interviewer commented that a US-brokered solution may be “deficient” in terms of Palestinian demands, Zaki casually responded:

“You can relax. We find ourselves united for the first time. Even the most extreme among us, Hamas, or the fighting forces, want a state within the ’67 borders. Afterward, we [will] have something to say, because the inspiring idea cannot be achieved all at once, [rather] in stages.”

This is not the first time Zaki has publicly aired his hardline stance. In April 2013, interviewed on Al-Mayadeen TV, Zaki acknowledged that a two-state solution would ultimately see Israel’s collapse.

“If they get out of Jerusalem, what will become of all the talk about the Promised Land and the Chosen People? What will become of all the sacrifices they made – just to be told to leave?” Zaki said. “If the Jews leave those places, the Zionist idea will begin to collapse. It will regress of its own accord. Then we will move forward.”

While in this interview Zaki didn’t spell out what “moving forward” entailed, he was more forthcoming in an interview on Al-Jazeera back in September 2011.

“The [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas] understands, we understand, and everyone knows that it is impossible to realize the inspiring idea, or the great goal in one stroke. If Israel withdraws from Jerusalem, if Israel uproots the settlements, 650,000 settlers, if Israel removes the [security] fence – what will be with Israel?”

Zaki closed his comments by saying, “This is not a [stated] policy. You can’t say it to the world. You can say it to yourself.”

Fatah, headed by PA head Abbas, is the party that dominates the Palestinian Authority and is widely considered to be a moderate faction.

Our neighbor’s dog was a sweetheart, and everyone in the neighborhood loved her. But she had a talent for getting out of the yard. One day she managed to escape and was hit by a car, leaving her badly injured and lying in a ditch. We rushed to help her, but as so often happens with injured animals, she lashed out at us, growling, barking, and snapping. The dog’s owner wouldn’t take no for an answer, though. He pushed past her hostile response and took care of her because he loved her.

I have had times in my life when I was the one lying in the gutter, broken and hurting. God came to me there and pushed past my angry and hostile reactionsbecause He loves me. In spite of my restless behavior and my foolish protests, He stuck with me, healing, restoring, and changing me.

God has big plans for me, too big to leave me lying in the gutter, licking my own wounds. He had a plan to get me back on my feet and make me productive for His kingdom. He’s given me a new heart and a new spirit, and He’ll never give up on me because He loves me.

Prayer

Father, thank You for picking me up and putting me back on my feet. Thank You for loving me so much that you helped me even when I fought against Your loving care. Amen.

SUPPORT THE PERSECUTED CHURCH IN 2014

• Deep inside Burma…
  Manny and his wife Lila sat on a jungle hillside overlooking the small mountain city God had called them to. Manny and Lila are missionary students from an underground Bible school inside Burma. Alongside their fellow graduates, the couple knew they would be called to some of the most dangerous, war-torn parts of Burma.
  Although an ocean away from the U.S., the mountain city and its inhabitants resembled something out of the Wild West. Instead of gold, miners had dug deep into the hillsides in search of rubies. As a result, many greedy men had come, bringing corruption and darkness.
  Being missionaries in a country hostile to Christians is risky enough, but Manny and Lila face a whole new set of challenges. The Burmese Army has used rubies to fund their war on Christian tribes. Villagers eager to earn their fortunes have signed up to dig for the treasure, only to become addicted to narcotics that are prevalent in the local area. Instead of riches, large groups in the city have sunk deeper into drug-induced poverty.
  Many consider the area too dangerous for ministry outreaches, but not Manny and Lila. They are Alpha Relief sponsored missionaries and have already made plans to claim the people and the city back from the darkness that has strangled it.
  
  In Israel…
  Maldiv and Rachael have successfully ventured past the closed doors of one the most protected strongholds in the world. They are Arab Christians, and for years have been using their cultural background to bring the light of Christ deep into Muslim territory.
  They were first called to this frontier mission while living in Egypt. “I want you to love them as I love them,” were God’s words to the surprised couple. Loving Muslims and introducing them to Christ meant risking not only their lives, but the lives of those who began believing the Gospel message. “It was a very scary time for us,” describes Maldiv.
  The brave couple now lives in Jerusalem, in a Muslim neighborhood, under the roof of a Muslim landlord.  Their love for Muslims has only grown. “We know it’s the place where we can be most effective,” says Rachael.
  An underground church now meets in their home, comprised of new Muslim converts and those seeking to learn more about the love of God that is so vastly different from what they have known. In fact, the landlord’s daughter has become a Christian as a result of the couple’s loving outreach.
  Even in Israel, the birthplace of Christianity, converts from the Muslim faith face severe persecution. Many risk losing their jobs, homes, and in extreme cases their lives. Should Maldiv and Rachael be discovered, they face being left homeless. Still, they are committed to remaining strong as undercover missionaries who light up a dark world.
  
  In China…
  A small team has gathered again to worship together, enjoy a meal, and most importantly be discipled as underground missionaries. Their training will equip them for a church-planting mission to an unreached Chinese people group called the “A-Che.” This team knows the challenges they will face in bringing the Gospel message, because they themselves are A-Che, representing the small 1% who have become believers in Jesus.
  Many of the team members have experienced persecution from local authorities. Instead of hindering their work, persecution has spurred A-Che believers to burn with a deeper desire to build the body of Christ in their communities. The discipleship is giving them the skills they need for effective evangelism to their villages as well as training for leading and sustaining house church plants.
  With the Lord’s help, the team desires to plant 12 new churches in the coming year among their home villages, offering new hope to a people living in darkness.
  
  A Call to Give …
  Manny and Lila, Maldiv and Rachael, and the A-Che team represent Alpha Relief’s growing team of supported underground missionaries, daring to go where many would never venture. As 2014 begins, please help Alpha Relief continue our mission to support the persecuted Church and its servants alike. In a Christmas message, the Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas has referred to Jesus as a messenger of "palestinian" hope.

Mahmoud Abbas: Jesus was "palestinian"

Almost none specialist academic puts in doubt that Jesus was a Jew. But the palestinian authorities are advocating a nationality "palestine" to Jesus as a way to promote their cause "palestine".

The declaration of Abbas seems to be part of a campaign to reach the world public opinion and connect the Christian culture to palestinian political goals.

Abbas also said that Jesus was a "messenger palestine that would become light and direction for millions."

The majority of palestinians, including Abbas, it is Islamic, but both he and his predecessor, the Muslim terrorist Yasser Arafat, believed that engage Christians help to advance the cause "palestine" Muslim. An important palestinian Christian activist in this strategy is Bishara Awad, director of the Bethlehem Bible College, who was in Brazil months behind.

Bethlehem, the Jewish town that traditionally is the home town of Jesus and of king David, is today under the occupation of palestinians.

 It is impossible to speak in Christmas and in Jesus, the birthday, without speaking of whom he is descending. The Word of God says:
"Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry. He was the son, so it was thought, of Joseph, the son of Heli,
the son of Matthat, the son of Levi, the son of Melki, the son of Jannai, the son of Joseph,
the son of Mattathias, the son of Amos, the son of Nahum, the son of Esli, the son of Naggai,
the son of Maath, the son of Mattathias, the son of Semein, the son of Josek, the son of Joda,
the son of Joanan, the son of Rhesa, the son of Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, the son of Neri,

 In this text, the word "son" appears some 77 times. This shows the importance of the natural family, marriage and the traditional conception blessed by God. At the same time, this text gives no space for homosexual unions who never beget children. The duals gays can by unjust law be considered "married", but by the law of God and of nature never will. A society that opens hand this reality is doomed to destruction.
The "enemies" of the family and traditional marriage they want at all costs enter their diabolical ideologies to justify the unjustifiable: the union of a double who commits homosexual acts. They struggle to refute the family and traditional marriage. Moreover, Satan always fought to destroy the family and the individuals we see using notorious on this ambush of sin, trying to match the unparalleled. Will is heaven and earth, but the Word of God, eternal evidence of marriage only between a man and a woman, never will.
 Jesus was only considered "son" of Joseph, as saith Luke 4:23 am, because outside generated by the Holy Spirit. The act of the Holy Spirit become pregnant Mary shows how traditional marriage is open to the God who created them. Opposite, the sexual practice between two homosexuals, considered by God as an abomination, generates only sadness and death, never to life.
 Joseph was considered the father of Jesus because he was married to Mary, who became pregnant before having sexual relations with Joseph. It pleased God through the Holy Spirit to accomplish the miracle of conception of life in the womb of Mary. To get up to Joseph, the Bible mentions who was son of whom until reaching the Adam. There is an old proverb which says: "father" is the one who creates. Joseph has created very well his adoptive son, Jesus Christ, but in this case the true Father is God, but Joseph had the privilege to create it as a human being.
 All 77 son cited also got married and had children, and so to the new generations the opportunity to know their descendants, through reproduction blessed by God by marriage. Therefore, the human genealogy of Jesus Christ was only possible because none of them opted for homossexual "marriage". None of them is no longer influenced by sins of anti-marriage, leaving for future generations the family record of "who was the son of whom," precisely because God values the marriage between a man and a woman and never the sexual union between two men regarded by him as "disgusting and sexual depravity." Each traditional marriage in the lineage of Jesus Christ was fundamental part of God's plan to generate Its conception blessed.
 Many feel boring read the genealogy of Jesus. But to read it, we see the importance that God gives the marriage between a man and a woman. Incidentally, the first miracle that Jesus performed was exactly during the ceremony of a wedding.
 What importance has this for Christmas?
 The word "Christmas" is linked to the word "birth." thus, Christians and non-Christians, even without knowing it, are celebrating the birth of Jesus at Christmas. In own Wikipedia, some people already have looked to find the origin of Christmas, which date from the third century a.d. in which the Christian Church then changed the calendar to celebrate the birth of Jesus on December 25, the date on which it was celebrated the birth of the sun god. It was very good that the Christians of the time decided to make this change to celebrate the birth of Jesus, even if knowing there is not much time that Jesus was born on this day. Does not matter. What counts is the goal of all if us this day.
 However, we must not forget to give thanks to God for the birthday of Jesus Christ, because Christ human spiritual is from eternity, as describes the Gospel of John chapter 1: "In the beginning, He (Jesus Christs) was the one who is the Word. He was with God and  He was God."
 Propose-if this Christmas, remember the Birthday, supporting and praying for the families and taking the attitude of combat all attacks of darkness who want to eliminate the genealogies and the natural family.
 A long genealogy of natural families was needed to bring about the birth of Jesus. The Birthday help us to remember that the family is central part of His plan to bring hope and redemption in this world.

MERRY CHRISTMAS IN ISRAEL

• “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,

   Dear Friends,
  The above prophetic scripture was written in the 8^th century BC and declared that Jesus Christ would come into the earth to rule and reign.  Our Messiah was born in a small manger in an insignificant village called Bethlehem.  His birth and subsequent death and resurrection continue to be the most significant events in human history and make the nation of Israel a focal point in global discussions.
  As you are receiving this newsletter, I am traveling in Israel with a small team from Alpha Relief to visit the place where it all began and, according to scripture, will all end.  In Revelation 22:13 Jesus declares, “ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
  
  What you may not be aware of is that in Israel today, Christians are facing persecution in an unprecedented manner.
   Christians lost their majority status in Bethlehem soon after Yasser Arafat assumed control in the mid-90s. According to the Washington Post, the population has continued to drop leaving a mere 15 percent today. An estimated 10,000 Christians are all that remain in Jesus’ birthplace. But it has not stopped there. Because of persecution, an estimated 1,000 Christians now leave Bethlehem each year.
  Sayeeda Warsi, the first Muslim elected to the British parliament, recently commented in a speech at Georgetown University, “A mass exodus is taking place, on a biblical scale. In some places, there is a real danger that Christianity will become extinct.”
  
  Would you please take a moment to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are facing persecution across the Middle East and especially in the nation of Israel, the birthplace of our Christian faith? Please pray for our team as we seek the Lord for His plan on how we can help make a difference. Without prayer and partnership Alpha Relief would not exist. It is a simple fact. We need Him and we need you to accomplish the work of serving the persecuted church around the world.
  Sometimes the darkness of persecution can feel overwhelming. There is still so much need across the world.
