Following last week’s horrific shooting in Toulouse, France, we remember that many Jews around the world live daily with the threat of anti-Semitic violence. We are reminded that although persecution and danger continue to afflict God’s people, God’s comfort and refuge are ever-present, in life and in death. Please join us in prayer that God’s peace will be passed to those affected by violence, to our world leaders, and to those protecting Israel.
- Pray for the grieving families and friends of the Toulouse attack victims – and continue to ask God to protect Jewish people around the world. “But you, O God, do see trouble and grief; you consider it to take it in hand. The victim commits himself to you; you are the helper of the fatherless” (Psalm 10:14).
- Pray for peace in Israel, and for solidarity among her people. “May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels” (Psalm 122:7).
- Pray for the success of the Fellowship food program that is working to provide 40,000 Passover food boxes to Jews around the world so that they may celebrate the Passover Seder with dignity. “The poor will eat and be satisfied; those who seek the LORD will praise him — may your hearts live forever!” (Psalm 22:26).
- Pray for world leaders, especially Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Obama, as they make crucial decisions about the dangerous nuclear situation in Iran. “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge” (Psalm 1:7).
- Please pray for the safety and discernment of the Israel Defense Forces soldiers as they daily battle to protect Israel and her children. “May those who love you be secure” (Psalm 122:6).

| It is especially heartbreaking that so many Holocaust survivors are unable to afford basic foods, much less the special items like matzah needed to observe the holy Passover Seder with dignity. My friend, I am asking you to join our Fill the Pantry Passover food campaign and help The Fellowship deliver 40,000 Passover Food Boxes both in Israel and the former Soviet Union. With Passover now only days away, I urge you to please make your gift today on behalf of thousands of needy Holocaust survivors like Alexander. Alexander is an 86-year-old widower who witnessed the murder of his entire family and endured four horrific years in a Nazi work camp. Yet today, Alexander lives all alone in heartbreaking poverty. When Yael, my daughter, arrived at his tiny apartment to deliver one of our Passover Food Boxes, Alexander broke into tears. “This food package reminds me that I’m not alone, and will truly help me be joyous when I look at the beautiful meal on my table that The Fellowship provided,” he said. “Thank you for caring about me in my old age. And thank God that there are people and places like The Fellowship. You’re the only ones that care about me anymore.”By making a gift to our Fill the Pantry Passover food campaign, you can help bring comfort to destitute Holocaust survivors like Alexander. These dear people have nowhere else to turn to for help, other than to you and me. Please be as generous as you can and thank you for caring. | |||

The photo, however, was later identified as a 2006 Reuters photo. The girl died in a playground or car accident, not as a result of any actions taken by the IDF.
Prosor wrote that Badawi’s actions not only “violate conduct expected of a UN official,” but that she also “actively engaged in the demonization of Israel, a member state of the United Nations. Such actions contribute to incitement, conflict and, ultimately, violence,” according to Fox News, which obtained a copy of the letter.

Over 12,000 Kassam Rockets have been fired into southern Israel in the last 8 years, deliberately targeting Israeli civilians, causing chaos, destruction and death. An entire generation of children has been traumatized by the terror of ongoing rocket attacks. Israeli cities such as Sderot and Ashkelon continue to be in real danger. As Hamas' Kassam Rocket stockpiles continue to increase, this is a war on terror that needs your support.
Nearly one million Israeli residents are within striking range of Gaza. There is an immediate and dire need to protect Israeli citizens from missile attacks. Above-ground portable shelters need to be deployed in vulnerable Israeli communities. These shelters can be moved to where they are needed most, providing one solution to the lack of adequate underground shelters.
These state-of-the-art, free standing shelters provide safety for Israeli citizens as they go about their daily lives. They are built to prevent the penetration of bullets, shrapnel and missile fragments and can withstand direct hits.

The annual AIPAC Policy Conference is the largest gathering of the pro-Israel movement. Thousands of participants come from all 50 states to take part in “three of the most important days affecting Israel’s future.”
