Time of Grace

Over the centuries God has been dealing with humanity in different ways, aiming increasingly facilitate the salvation for the same, but in all these dispensations brought by God, always and invariably, some attitude of human beings will be required.

The Bible presents us with 39 (thirty-nine) books called the Old Testament or Alliance, and 27 (twenty-seven) books of the New Testament.

The Old Alliance comes to us the revelation that, without bloodshed there is no remission of sin, then came the countless sacrifices of animals that were regularly made by those who entered in the Jewish faith.

The time of the Jewish rituals today, has no value for those who have become Church, or disciples of Jesus Christ, and because of Judaism is not a false religion, as reports of Romans 2:12-13, is informed that, the Old Covenant (Law), can be considered the permissive will of God to the Jews, however, the New Alliance (Christ), is the absolute will to the world.

We can see on the Bible, the break (compliance) of the Old Covenant, and the institution of the New Covenant. In the Old Alliance was required the sacrifice of a lamb for the forgiveness of sin was realized. Each would receive his personal forgiveness, through its own bid. But in John 1:29, John the Baptist points to Christ and says: "Behold the Lamb of God, which TAKE AWAY the SIN OF THE WORLD." Understand though, the report covers of the Earth, He takes away the sins of the world. What God never allowed any human being realize, now, he even held for humanity, in others words, the sacrifice of a human being (John.3:16), and don't forget of what is said. He is the Lamb of God, in others words, THE GOD HIMSELF WHO MAKE THE OFFER FOR ETERNAL SACRIFICE.

As the indisputable facts, is established the TIME OF GRACE, in other words, The NOT DESERVED FAVOUR OF GOD TO THE MEN, where the Apostle Paul makes his glorious contribution to our understanding not falter (Romans 3:21-26), and yet in Romans 6:23 , it shows their understanding when claims to be Christ the FREE GIFT OF GOD. As Christ the gift FREE, is that today we are in time of Grace, the NOT DESERVED FAVOUR.

We'll see clearly in the words of the Lord Jesus, that any law would have to be met before its abolition, because it also as a divine institution, could never be disregarded, unless they were fully met.
In Matthew 5:17-18, when the Lord Jesus, declared that He comes to keep the law, makes clear that the Apostle understood the time of Grace in his person, and once again we prove the declaration of John 1:29, that Christ would be the BIG SACRIFICE , Which will finish all Jewish rituals.

In Mathew  26:28, Mark 14:24, and Luke 22:20, Jesus proves to be the MEDIATOR of a NEW ALLIANCE in His own blood. (Reading indispensable - Hebrews 9:11-21 / 12:24 / 13:20).

Once that we understand the institution of the time of Grace, we will demonstrate in this New Alliance, which part applicable to humans, as it does not sacrifice any more remains to be done.

Since all sacrifice has already been done, and knowing that none of us born ordained to anything, we have, after all, that we must find out which part in this New Alliance, because if we are talking about Alliance, this mean that two shares are involved, because normally an Alliance that has involve at least two points, or two interests.

In Ephesians 2:8-9,  become evident the party that we must, as is said, by Grace we are saved, however shows, THROUGH THE WITNESS. This means that, my faith should be directed to favour that God, established for me, in person and sacrifice of Christ. And is written that this does not come from us, because we would never have how to provide us, a vehicle of salvation so powerful and effective.
In Romans 5:1-2, Paul, once again shows that our ATTITUDE of faith allows us to enter the New Alliance, in order to, enjoy the time of Grace, which also makes clear that we are justified by faith.

Only the title of closure we want to remember Hebrews 11:6, which states that without faith is impossible to please God, that is, if we do not have faith that the sacrifice of Christ is unique and sufficient for our redemption, never we will please God, and thus, not enjoy its glory. Through faith in time of grace, we can be whatever we want, to see the tremendous Glory of God.

This time of Grace is also known as dispensing of faith, because the Lord Jesus made it clear that, IF YOU BELIEVE YOU'LL SEE THE GLORY OF GOD (John 11:40). In the end, the Party of God is consummated, now left us do our part. Remember, that faith is the ACTION of your FREE WILL. So believe, and you'll see the Glory of God.

VISIT ISRAEL IN 2012!

On November 3-12, 2012 Fellowship friends from all over the world will embark on the 2012 Journey Home Tour to Israel. On this faith-enriching trip through the Holy Land, participants will walk in the footsteps of the Patriarchs, Apostles, and Jesus, visit Fellowship projects, and see the Bible come to life as they visit biblical sites that they have only read about.

As Director of the Journey Home Tours I have a special reminder video about the approaching registration deadline of July 26, 2012. Be sure to view the video and make your plans to join Fellowship friends on a “trip of a lifetime ”.

If you are still wondering if a trip to Israel is something you want to do, be sure to watch a new series of videos on the Biblical Reasons to go to Israel with The Fellowship this fall hosted by Omer Eshel, Midwest Director for the Israel Ministry of Tourism. The first biblical reason discussed is the famous battle between King Saul and the Philistines that took place by Mt. Gilboa overlooking the Jezreel Valley .

On behalf of Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, president and founder of The Fellowship and the people of Israel I thank you in advance for being part of our annual Journey Home Tour to Israel.

I can personally guarantee that you will never be the same after your “trip of a lifetime” to Israel.

Shalom,

Rev. Jerry Clark, M.Div.

Support and Take Action For Israel

Jerusalem Prayer Team:

Dear Friend,

Major General Hassan Firouzabadi, Iran’s military chief of staff, addressed a defense conference in Tehran on Sunday. He said, “The Iranian nation is standing for its cause, and that is the full annihilation of Israel.” There is no possible way in which Iran could be clearer about its intentions. Iran’s leaders have repeatedly called for Israel to be “wiped off the map.” Now the man in charge of their military says that the utter destruction of Israel is the purpose and goal of his nation.

I believe him! My friend Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu believes him. I know you do as well, but the truth is that most people of the world are just turning their heads and looking away—just as they did during the Holocaust. We must not let the evil enemies of Israel succeed in their destructive goals. It is time for us to stand in the gap as never before for the deliverance of God’s Chosen People.

The Jerusalem World Center, our new home in Jerusalem, is so important to Israel’s future right now because it will be the world prayer headquarters of a mighty prayer campaign for Israel—and I need your help today. God gave us great favor with the owners of the building to be able to receive a wonderful discount on the purchase price, but we must make a $3,000,000 payment by the end of July. I am thrilled and so grateful for the outpouring of love from so many Jerusalem Prayer Team members. It is clear to me that God is doing a great work, and I'm glad we get to be part of it, but we must reach this goal.

A dear friend has stepped forward with a $250,000 matching gift challenge from now until the end of May. This will take us a long way toward making that first payment—and we must not fail to meet this urgent challenge. I’m asking you today to send a gift to help us see this great miracle…and build a lasting legacy of love and an enduring witness of salt and light to the people of Israel. So far 450 loving hearts have stepped forward and given $54,300 toward this urgent goal.

The reason that we have taken such a huge step of faith is because the need to defend Israel is so urgent. I have no doubt that I have heard from God regarding the building for the Jerusalem World Center, and God has directed me to do more than just pray for a miracle so that we can raise the money to pay for the building. I have His firm Word in my spirit that I am to ask you today to believe with me in faith for this miracle.

Today Israel is surrounded by enemies and besieged on every side, but together we can offer help and hope. While I was in Israel a few weeks ago, we signed the contract to purchase a five-story building within walking distance of the Temple Mount. This building will be the worldwide home of the Jerusalem Prayer Team and host the Christian Zionism Museum as a lasting witness to the Jewish people.

In the Holy City, the Jerusalem World Center will stand as a witness to the love of believers for the Jewish people…a constant presence of salt and light. It will be the headquarters for our growing humanitarian outreaches to the poor of Israel, especially the elderly Holocaust survivors. Together we will share God’s love with His Chosen People like never before. There is no doubt in my mind that God is bringing this miracle to pass to meet the challenges and threats that Israel faces today.

Israel today stands on the brink of all-out war—a war that will kill or injure thousands of precious Jewish men, women, and children. We must do all that we can to defend the Jewish state and God’s Chosen People. In addition, the Jerusalem Prayer Team is working to meet the needs of the poor and elderly in Israel. Your gift helps us provide warm clothes, food, and medicine for those in urgent need.

When you send your gift of $40 or more which will be doubled through the matching gift challenge, we will send you this set of Biblical fragrances. Beautifully packaged and suitable for display in your home or office, this is a wonderful reminder of the deep roots of our faith in the land of Israel.

If you are able send a gift of $100 or more, we will send you this Pray for Jerusalem prayer shawl prepared especially for members of the Jerusalem Prayer Team.

And if you are able to send a gift of $1,000 or more, we will send you the Biblical fragrance set, the prayer shawl, and this oversized museum-quality shofar trimmed in silver. Handmade according to the traditions passed down for centuries, this museum-quality piece will tell everyone that you are committed to sounding the alarm for the defense of Israel.
The Jerusalem World Center is an incredible, miraculous, prophetic answer to prayer. It is the greatest miracle of my life and yours. I truly believe that this is our Esther moment. I believe that THIS IS THE DAY God has been leading us toward and preparing us for over the last forty years.

Today I’m asking you to stand up and be counted—to join the line of heroes down through the centuries who have done their part to deliver the Jewish people from destruction. I am asking you to make a generous, even sacrificial gift…which will be doubled through the matching gift challenge…to help make the Jerusalem World Center a reality and help the Jerusalem Prayer Team do all we can to defend the Jewish state and the Jewish people around the world.

Barukh atah Adonai eloheinu melekh ha-olam, ozier Yisrael bigvurah.

Blessed art thou, Lord our God, King of the universe, who girds Israel with might.

Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Dr. Mike Evans

United With Israel:
As you probably know, back in March nearly 300 missiles exploded within a few days in southern Israeli communities. Israeli citizens  - men, women and children - continue to live in terrifying fear of more attacks...

United with Israel initiated an emergency campaign to build bomb shelters in southern Israel. Thanks to your support, on April 2, we delivered and installed 2 above-ground portable bomb shelters in 2 Israeli towns outside of Ashkelon. The people of Israel sincerely thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Right now, the need is very great. Nearly one million Israelis are within rocket range from Gaza. Children are living in fear. There are dozens more communities in southern that do not have adequate shelters. Many don't have any shelters.

Here are 2 ways that you can help:

1. You can make a donation directly to our Bomb Shelters Campaign by clicking below:
http://unitedwithisrael.org/build-shelters

2. You can purchase 'Rockets into Roses' items. These are unique, handcrafted art sculptures, jewelry and judaica made from the remains of actual rockets that landed in Israeli communities. Israel's way of turning terror into beauty. A portion of the proceeds are allocated to the Bomb Shelter Campaign.

Click below to visit the 'Rockets into Roses' website:
http://www.rocketsintoroses.com/

Above-ground portable shelters need to be deployed in vulnerable Israeli communities. These shelters can be moved to where they are needed most. They will provide safety for Israeli citizens as they go about their daily lives.

The shelters are built to prevent the penetration of bullets, shrapnel and missile fragments and can withstand direct hits. While building underground shelters can take months, these prefab units take can be built, delivered and deployed in a matter of days..

Although these shelters cannot provide Israeli communities with peace, they provide both safety and peace of mind.

FrontPage Magazine:
Dear Friend of Israel & America:

Not a week passes without some new outrage against Israel at the United Nations. This organization, which began with a statement of the highest ideals, has become cesspool of anti-Americanism and Jew hatred.

For almost 40 years now, a majority of nations at the United Nations has not only condemned, harassed and isolated Israel; they have also tried to expel the Jewish State and even allowed bloody demagogues like Idi Amin to call into question Israel's very right to exist in despicable speeches before the General Assembly. Until the 1970s, the one nation that could be counted on to stand against such a venomous assault was the United States. But under Jimmy Carter, the U.S. joined the jackals and encouraged Israel's enemies at the UN and allowed the terrorist Yasser Arafat to posture there as a statesman.

Under Barack Obama we see the return of a cold and reluctant support of the Jewish State. This willingness to leave Israel twisting slowly in the wind is bound to increase in a second Obama term and we will look back in longing to the days when Ronald Reagan made it clear in no uncertain terms that America would always defend Israel at the UN and elsewhere on the battlefield of ideas. The Reagan administration said No in thunder to the murderous slanders against Israel launched at the United Nations by the Islamic Conference, the Soviet bloc and the third world "nonaligned" bloc. Why? For one reason: because our UN ambassador Jeane Kirkpatrick had the courage of the President's convictions about the Jewish State.

My writing partner and Center colleague has just written an important book about Kirkpatrick, Ronald Reagan's closest ally in the belief that support of Israel a moral imperative in and of itself and also a key part of the effort to drive a stake through the heart of the Soviet Union. This book is called Political Woman: The Big Little Life of Jeane Kirkpatrick and it shows how Kirkpatrick saw job number one at the UN as reversing the unrelenting hatred of Israel at the world body throughout the 1970's and into the early 80's, a hatred she feared would justify "a new holocaust." When a call came to expel Israel from the U.N., it was Kirkpatrick who threatened to pull the U.S. and its financial support out of the organization. The Arabs and their Soviet patron backed down. In speech after speech, Kirkpatrick worked not only to remove the "kick-me" sign from the back of America at the UN the Carter administration had allowed our enemies to place there, but also to make it clear that we would not stand by while Israel, the only island of democracy in a sea of despotism in the Middle East, was attacked by the enemies of Jews and of freedom itself.

Peter was a personal friend of Kirkpatrick's. In Political Woman, he uses their intimate conversations and documentary material she gave him to construct a portrait of a strong and independent woman (disparaged by radical feminists like Gloria Steinem as "a female impersonator") from the heartland of America who devoted the first part of her life to the study of totalitarianism and the second part to making sure that it did not defeat America in the Cold War battle of ideas. She was a Democrat in the Scoop Jackson mold who left the party in 1972 when she was unable to prevent it from being hijacked by the McGovern radicals. She became a Republican and made sure that the Republicans under Reagan turned back the tide of totalitarianism then washing over the UN--beginning with a spirited defense of Israel.

If you care about Israel and are concerned about its treatment by the Obama administration, you should read this book. For your immediate tax deductible contribution of $50 or more, I'll rush you a copy of Political Woman, signed by Peter Collier. So please follow this link right away to make a contribution. For a contribution of $100 or more, I'll ask Peter to personalize the inscription.

Your support today is critical to promoting this important book, which helps further the Freedom Center's mission of exposing the truth about how the anti-American left has tried to promote the decline of the U.S. and the de-legitimization of Israel and been stopped only because of the courage of patriotic individuals like Jeane Kirkpatrick and Ronald Reagan. Please help us today by making the most generous tax deductible contribution you can afford and we'll rush you a copy of this groundbreaking new book. Thanks for all your support.

Sincerely,

David Horowitz
President & Founder

P.S. Peter Collier's new book Political Woman: The Big Little Life of Jeane Kirkpatrick is a vital guide to what America must do to survive and how critical it is for us to support Israel. For your immediate tax-deductible contribution of $50 or more, I'll rush you a copy of Political Woman signed by Peter. For your tax-deductible contribution of $100 or more, I'll Peter personalize the inscription. Please follow this link to contribute today. Thanks—David

Help Israel’s Poor and Vulnerable
Help Israel’s Poor and Vulnerable

With Hezbollah to the north, Hamas in the south, and Syria and Iran to the east, Israel is surrounded by enemies bent on her destruction.
Driven to spend heavily to defend her borders from attack by these terrorists and terrorist-supporting countries, Israel’s government can no longer afford to fulfill many basic needs of her most vulnerable citizens.
That means impoverished Jewish families, the elderly – including Holocaust survivors – and innocent children will be counting on The Fellowship to provide food, shelter, and medical assistance now more than ever.
During this dire time, friends of Israel like you and I must step in and care for the nation's poorest people – people like Zeena and Yosef.
This elderly couple survived the horrors of the Holocaust.  Sadly, they now live in abject poverty – unable to afford life’s basic necessities on their meager government pension.  Without the daily hot meal they receive at a Fellowship-funded soup kitchen in Jerusalem, Zeena and Yosef would surely go hungry.
My friend, we cannot allow the dear people of Israel to suffer.  Please reach out today to help The Fellowship meet this urgent humanitarian need.
By joining us in providing aid that will truly make a difference in the lives of poor people in the Holy Land, you will be showing your strong support for Israel and the Jewish people.  May God bless you, even as you have blessed His children.
With prayers for shalom, peace,

Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein
President
PS
As Israel continues to protect herself against those pledged to her destruction, government funds used to support Israel's most vulnerable citizens are dwindling.   But with your help today, The Fellowship can respond to this desperate call for help.

Prayer:
This weekend, as Jews celebrate Shavuot, commemorating the day God gave the Torah to the Israelites on Mount Sinai, we remember God’s faithfulness to us through the ages. As we lift up our world in prayer, let us remember to give thanks to Him for the many blessings He has given us!
  • As the U.S. observes Memorial Day next Monday, let us give thanks for the soldiers who gave their lives for the sake of peace and freedom. Pray that God blesses their families, and keeps their courageous sacrifice always in our hearts. “The memory of the righteous will be a blessing…” (Proverbs 10:7).
  • The Festival of Shavuot, which begins Saturday at sundown, commemorates God’s faithfulness to the Israelites. Give thanks to God for the gift of the Bible, and rejoice in the blessings of His word! “These are the decrees, the laws and the regulations that the LORD established at Mount Sinai between himself and the Israelites through Moses” (Leviticus 26:46).
  • Pray for wisdom for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and his new coalition government. May the changes in Israel’s government bring her closer to her goal of living in peace and security. “Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people, for who is able to govern this great people of yours?” (2 Chronicles 1:10).
  • Ask that God will turn the hearts of those who show hateful bias against Israel and her people. “You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come” (Psalm 102:13).
  • Pray for the protection of all IDF soldiers, and for the comfort of their family members who worry for their safety every day. “You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety” (Job 11:18).
  • Please pray for the Fellowship-sponsored security programs that work to keep innocent Israelis safe. “‘Because he loves me,’ says the LORD, ‘I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name’” (Psalm 91:14).

International Israel Allies Caucus Foundation:

Two days ago Israel celebrated the reunification of Jerusalem. Marking 45 years since Israeli paratroopers reunited the city, Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke from Ammunition Hill and declared that Jerusalem will always remain the united capital of the Jewish people.

We will preserve Jerusalem because an Israel without Jerusalem is like a body without a heart, “ the prime minister said.  “It was on this hill, 45 years ago, that the heart that unites our people began to beat again with full strength; and our heart will never be divided again.”

We invite you to celebrate Jerusalem Day in Washington, D.C. this Wednesday, June 6th on Capitol Hill together with the Israel Allies Foundation and some of America’s most pro-Israel Congressmen.
Hear from leading Jewish and Christian speakers concerning the importance of Jerusalem to the Jewish people and Christians worldwide.
Confirmed speakers include: Rabbi Benny Elon, IIACF President and former Israeli Minister of Tourism, Archbishop Daniel Williams, recently honored by the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus and the World Jewish Congress for his steadfast support for Israel, Dr. Dave Weldon, former Congressmen and founding member of the Congressional Israel Allies Caucus, along with Gary Bauer, a one-time Republican presidential candidate, former Chief Domestic Policy Advisor to President Ronald Reagan, and current president of American Values.
Register today to reserve your place for this unforgettable celebration.
This Sunday Prime Minister Netanyahu challenged us stating: “Our generation also bears the tremendous responsibility of ensuring that we safeguard [Jerusalem] for future generations.”  It is time the USA, as Israel’s strongest ally, does its part to ensure Jerusalem’s future by recognizing Jerusalem as the united capital of the Jewish State of Israel and moving our Embassy there. THINK: IS THE HOLOCAUST ABOUT TO HAPPEN AGAIN?

Source: http://www.youtube.com/user/smotvfilm
Website: http://www.pjtn.org/

by BOB UNRUH
History books recount how 6 million Jews, or more, died in Adolf Hitler’s final solution, but that was in another generation and nothing ever would happen like today, many believe.

After all, the atrocities are well-documented, after Gen. Dwight Eisenhower, later to be president, ordered an extensive video and still photography record of the horrors uncovered by American troops who liberated the death camps in Germany.

Eisenhower explained his instructions as news media and military combat camera units recorded the scenes, saying “I made the visit deliberately, in order to be in a position to give first-hand evidence of these things if ever, in the future, there develops a tendency to charge these allegations merely to ‘propaganda.’”

But according to the Washington Post, sports fans in the United Kingdom even now can purchase scarves and stickers saying “Jews forbidden.”

And a Nobel Prize-winning German poet recently publicly blamed Israel for endangering an “already fragile world peace.”

In France, a recent massacre by a gunman targeted Jews, and at Rutgers, an “April Fools” edition of an editorial “praised Adolf Hitler.”

That provides the foundation for the DVD called “The Forgotten People.”

It explains in detail the reason for Holocaust Day around the world, to be observed as Israel’s day of commemoration for the approximately 6 million Jews perished in the Holocaust.

The DVD relates how the horrifying discovery of Germany’s death camps was made when a sub-camp to the notorious Buchenwald was captured by allied forces.

Of the 250,000 Jewish prisoners held there, only 4,000 were still alive, the DVD explains. Yet even today, “despite the mountains of evidence,” Holocaust deniers are growing into a new wave of world-wide anti-Semitism, it explains.

The project, from Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, explains Christians, for the most part, were silent as the Holocaust unfolded.

And producer Lauria Cardoza-Moore documents the growing hatred of Jews, and, alarmingly, “the parallels between Nazism and radical Islam, and why Christians must take a stand for justice and defend the people and nation of Israel.”

On the video, terrorism expert Walid Shoebat said the Holocaust “never really ended.”

Brad Young, an instructor at the graduate level in theology, said, “Christian schools, educators, teachers need to deal with the problem of Christian anti-Semitism.”

James Woolsey, former director of the CIA, said of Israel’s enemies, “Their solution, when they talk about occupying Palestine, they mean Tel Aviv. They want to destroy the Jewish state.”

The DVD warns that despite all the documentation, today the number of Holocaust deniers – whose who say it never happened – is growing “as a new, world-wide wave of anti-Semitism is reaching levels not seen since the rise of Nazi Germany.”

Cardoza-Moore documents the “growing hatred of the Jews, the parallels between Nazism and radical Islam, and why Christians must take a stand for justice and defend the people and nation of Israel.”

The memorial day was inaugurated in the 1950s by Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion and President Yitzhak Ben-Zvi. It is held in the springtime on various days. Many communities light memorial candles and recite the Kaddish, the prayer for the departed.

Around the world, services include synagogue events as well as communal vigils. Many programs feature a talk by a Holocaust survivor, or direct descendant. Also, thousands of Jews and non-Jews from around the world gather at Auschwitz for what has become known as “The March of the Living.”

A Personal Message For Jerusalem's Day

Israel365
Dear Friends,

Forty five years ago, Israel was faced with a horrifying nightmare as her enemies moved hundreds of thousands of troops around her vulnerable borders. The young country was not nearly as secure as it is today, and the threat of a second Holocaust - just twenty years after Hitler - was terrifying as the Arabs threatened to ‘push the Jews into the sea.’ As Egypt, Jordan and Syria made plans on how to divide the land they were confident they would soon conquer, Israelis dug mass graves in city parks preparing for the absolute worst. Yet, the God of Israel did not abandon His people, and in six short days, demonstrated to the world the extent of His protection and love for Israel. Yom Yerushalayim / Jerusalem Day commemorates this great miracle.

Having moved to Israel only a few months ago, I wake up each morning feeling proud to be a part of the living miracle that is Israel, but today, on Jerusalem Day, the feelings are especially overwhelming. I know from my correspondence with so many of you, that, no matter where you are, your hearts are with me, here in Israel. I am therefore thrilled to share with you our brand new, “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem” commemorative e-Book.

It begins with the Prayer for the State of Israel and the Prayer for the Soldiers of Israel’s Defense Forces in English and Hebrew. Following those prayers written by the Chief Rabbi, are fifty high resolution photos of the Holy City by award winning Israeli photographer Yehoshua Halevi for you to cherish alongside Biblical passages describing Jerusalem. This gorgeous volume will be sold for less than $5, but for a limited time, it is being offered to Israel365 readers for only $3.65 - Click here to purchase your copy and enjoy immediately!

Incredibly, in just the first few hours of the Six Day War, Israeli fighter jets destroyed the Egyptian Air Force and the IDF advanced simultaneously on all fronts.  Israel’s ordinarily well prepared generals had never anticipated the war to go so well that when they saw the opportunity to take Jerusalem from Jordanian hands, they didn’t even have any contingency plans to rely on! The Jewish army refused to use heavy weapons in the ancient city for fear of damaging religious holy sites and instead inched through the Old City street by street until finally they raised the Israeli flag over the Dome of the Rock and broadcasted to the world “Har Habayit Beyadenu / The Temple Mount is in our hands!”

On this special day marking the return of Jerusalem to Jewish control for the first time in 2,000 years, let us pray and give thanks to God for the great miracles He has performed for us. Download Israel365’s “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem” for an inspirational journey for your eyes and your heart and join me in the prayerful words we recited in Synagogue today, “May it be your will, our God and the God of our forefathers, that just as we have witnessed the beginning stages of our redemption, let us soon merit to hear the sound of the Shofar of the righteous Messiah.”

Shalom from Jerusalem,

SUPPORT ISRAEL 4

Judaica WebStore:
Israel is Under Daily Attack... What Can YOU Do About It?
Each day, we hear more and more reports of people trying to destroy Israel’s economic growth through boycotts and other efforts at harming the Jewish State.
While many around the world might feel helpless in the face of this “financial warfare” against our beloved nation, now there is something that each and every one of us can do by BUYING BLUE AND WHITE.
Shop-a-fada is an original campaign backed by pro-Israel advocates and Israel’s leading online sales portal, JudaicaWebStore.com. The campaign will offer the global community the chance to choose from over 8,000 Israeli-made products and defend Israel’s interests here and now – wherever in the world you might be found. The name Shop-a-fada is designed to show our enemies that we can fight with the same levels of international unity and passion that drive their campaigns of hatred – their intifadas. But we will fight back without violence or terror – but through active support of our beloved nation and people. With every purchase, we make an investment in Israel’s future and help ensure that those who attempt to destroy us will ultimately fail.
We’re also proud to have the American Friends of Magen David Adom as our partners in this global effort and for every purchase you make, we’ll contribute five percent to support their lifesaving work on behalf of the people of Israel.
So join us in spreading the word and show our enemies we’re resolved to support Israel- today more than ever.

AIPAC:

Dear Friend of Israel,
I have no way of knowing who you will vote for this fall. I don’t know whether you’ll vote Democrat, Republican or Independent.

But one thing I am confident in is this:

You want every leader you elect to share your support for a strong U.S. - Israel friendship, because helping ensure Israel's security is just as important as any other issue this election.

That’s why I'm writing to ask you to make a choice now that will be as important as the one you will make this November -- joining AIPAC. Join now and help us work with our current leaders in Washington as well as with the 113th Congress to make Israel more secure by ensuring American support remains strong.
Your gift will make you an instant AIPAC member and will provide much needed resources at a critical time.
As you likely know, this election will surely bring many new faces to Congress – most of whom will be brand new to the issues our community cares most about.
From the rising threat of a nuclear Iran to the Palestinians continued refusal to abandon their harmful U.N. campaign and return to peace negotiations with Israel, we must be ready to work with all members of the new Congress to tackle these and other challenges that lie ahead.
That’s because AIPAC and its members work with Congress on more than 100 legislative and policy initiatives annually. We are the only organization who meets with all 535 members of Congress and White House officials on a regular basis to ensure American support for Israel is always a top foreign policy priority.
And when important legislation reaches the House and Senate floor, only AIPAC has the resources to mobilize our community around legislation that can affect the Jewish state.
But we can’t do any of this without your help. So if you care about how American legislation and policy can help or hurt Israel, please join AIPAC today.
Thank you in advance for your time and support.

Sincerely,

Jonathan E. Missner
Director of National Affairs and Development

MAOZ:

In Israel a “critical mass” of Israeli believers is emerging. We as a community of believers in Israel can no longer be completely ignored. Last month at a Maoz staff meeting, we prayed a prayer of thanksgiving that we are now a family of 20 talented and committed Israelis making up the Maoz and congregational staff.
We are reaching out into our Hebrew-speaking world through media and videos, through books, conferences, teaching, mentoring and through sharing one on one. The best way to explain it is that “slowly but SURELY” the change is happening.
The Israeli public and the media (and of course the ultra-Orthodox!) know for certain we exist. Now it is we the laborers who are commissioned to bring in the harvest.
You are laboring and harvesting along side with us. Together, we will see God’s sure Word fulfilled. All Israel shall be saved! And no matter what, the gates of hell will not prevail against us.
And while we work in the harvest field here, the Lord has graciously privileged us to meet a “stranger” and yet a brother - Ugandan Pastor Umar Mulinde - and to minister to him.
Umar Mulinde Video
When we saw the terrible act of terror that Islamists wreaked upon him because of his conversion from Islam to Christianity, we immediately thought of Yeshua’s story of the Good Samaritan. The Levite and the Priest left a man sorely wounded on the roadside. But the Samaritan cared for his wounds and put him in a roadside inn where he could recover.
The Israeli nation has been so generous in helping Umar Mulinde, a former Muslim sheik turned minister of the Gospel. You can read his riveting story here. Since his hideous injuries, through a series of miracles, he has received free medical treatment from our Israeli medical system - and will continue to - costing in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
But now he has been released from the hospital, although he must stay for another four to six months in Israel to finish this initial period of out-patient treatment. Maoz has therefore committed to provide his housing, food and necessities for this period of time. The approximate cost will be somewhere between $12,000 to $15,000.
If you desire to give an extra offering for this wounded warrior and servant of the God of Israel, please help us. Be encouraged by knowing how much God loves our caring for our wounded brother:
He... loves the stranger, giving him food and clothing. Therefore love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. (Deuteronomy 10:18-19)
Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food... I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me.’ (Matthew 25:34-36)
Together we will inherit God’s kingdom as we minister to the spiritual and physical needs of the Israeli people and to the “stranger” God has graciously given us the opportunity to help in his time of need.
For the salvation of Israel and the nations,

IFCJ:
Part 1:

Be a Watchman on the Wall

Joseph,
The day may soon come — God forbid — when Israel has to once again defend herself against an all-out attack by hate-filled, murderous Islamic radicals and terrorists who have sworn to annihilate Israel and the Jewish people.
Anti-Jewish hatred is also building in other parts of the world. In recent years terrorists have struck Jewish targets repeatedly — a Rabbi and his wife were brutally murdered at a Jewish center in Mumbai, India — Jewish children gunned down in France in front of their school — synagogues firebombed in Turkey, and sadly many more tragic anti-Semitic attacks.
My friend, we dare not stand idly by while Israel is threatened with annihilation and Jews around the world are being attacked, murdered, and terrorized.
But we can make a difference, by standing with Israel and answering the biblical call to be a “watchman” on the wall. “On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent” (Isaiah 62:6).
Your gift to The Fellowship will be put to use immediately providing critically needed aid such as bomb shelters, emergency vehicles, medical kits, and protective equipment in Israel — as well as other lifesaving security items needed to protect vulnerable Jewish communities in over thirty countries.
Today, I’m asking you to help. We may not be able to change the course of global events, but we can stand with Israel and Jewish people everywhere by sending a message of hope and solidarity that we WILL NOT ALLOW hate-filled terrorists to attack Jews — or Christians — with impunity and that we will stand together in the battle for life, freedom and our shared biblical values.
Please, show your support for Israel today by joining us in providing aid that will truly make a difference to Jewish people in the Holy Land and around the world.

With prayers for shalom, peace,

Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein
President

PS
Anti-Semitic forces are escalating and it is imperative that we stand together, Christians and Jews, in solidarity with Israel. Please join us in showing your support by make a special, lifesaving gift to The Fellowship today.

Part 2:

Help Protect the People of Israel
Joseph,
A “Code Red” siren sounds – signaling an incoming terrorist rocket attack. Bilha grabs her children and runs to a Fellowship sponsored bomb shelter amid the screams of panic in a desperate attempt to reach safety. "Thank God we have this shelter where the children can feel safe and protected" says Bilha.
When an alert for an incoming terrorist rocket attack occurs, hundreds of thousands of Israelis like Bilha and her children have less than 15 seconds to reach safety.
My friend, the next attack could come at any moment and we urgently need your help to provide much needed bomb shelters for the people of Israel.
More than one million Israelis live under a constant threat of terrorist attacks. In the past two months alone, over 145 rockets have been fired at innocent civilians.
The Fellowship has been working to safeguard the people of Israel by funding the renovation and construction of thousands of bomb shelters over the past five years. Yet there are many areas that remain unprotected.
That is why we are calling on faithful friends like you to help The Fellowship meet this urgent security need.
Unrest and instability continue to plague the Middle East and we must stand with Israel during this volatile time. Please send a message of solidarity and commitment to the people of Israel by making a gift to help The Fellowship save innocent lives today.

With prayers for shalom, peace,

Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein
President

PS
Terrorist rockets are stationed along Israel’s borders and murderous Islamic radicals are growing stronger each day. They will strike without warning. Together, we can ensure that the people of Israel have bomb shelters nearby where they can take refuge.
