World's Largest Broadcaster Refuses to Recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital

Israel's Olympic team

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), which holds the rights to broadcast this year’s London Olympic games and is considered the largest broadcast organization in the world, intentionally refuses to list Jerusalem as the capital of Israel on its official Olympics website.
Even worse, according to news reports, until just a few days ago “East Jerusalem” was listed as the capital of Palestine. The Palestinian Territory is not a recognized nation, though it has recently been seeking to thwart international law and the Middle East peace process to obtain unilateral recognition at the United Nations.
In response to BBC’s overt insult to the State of Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s spokesperson sent a letter to BBC expressing its “dismay[]” that the international news organization would discriminate against Israel in its coverage of the Olympic games. The letter stated, “Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Israel, and accordingly we respectfully request the immediate rectification of this matter.”
BBC responded, but only by listing Jerusalem as the “Seat of government” of Israel, adding the caveat, “though most foreign embassies are in Tel Aviv.” It also made a slight change to its Olympic profile for Palestine, now listing East Jerusalem as the “Intended seat of government.”
Unfortunately, BBC’s intentional discrimination against the State of Israel has a long history. In fact, in 2007 BBC issued an apology to the Palestinians for one of its commentators stating that Jerusalem was the capital of Israel on air, calling it a “factual mistake.”
Factually, Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. Other Olympic news websites, such as NBC’s, recognized this fact.
Israel lists Jerusalem as its capital. In fact, even the United Nation’s lists “Jerusalem” as Israel’s capital.
U.S. law states, “Since 1950, the city of Jerusalem has been the capital of the State of Israel.” It recognizes that “[e]ach sovereign nation, under international law and custom, may designate its own capital.”
It has been 40 years since the darkest moment in Olympics history when Palestinian terrorists stormed the Olympic village and killed 11 Israeli Olympians and coaches.
Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, being the world's largest broadcaster does not allow you to change that fact. Nor does it allow you to disrespect the Israeli Olympians and the Israeli people.
Sign our petition demanding that the BBC acknowledge the fact that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.

God curses BBC and blesses Israel!

New Covenant

Blog by Chaim Goldberg
It’s been quite a week in Israel, and it's only Thursday.
Social protests spilled into the streets again, with people upset about the cost of living in Israel. Some are so insistent upon government aid, one mentally unstable man, tragically, and shockingly set himself on fire!
The debate continues over whether to force ultra-Orthodox Jews to serve in Israel's Defense Forces, just as all other Israeli young people must do. Just yesterday, the political party Kadima announced it is leaving Prime Minister Netanyahu's coalition government because no agreement could be reached over the emotional 'religious draft' issue. This will likely lead to early elections for a new Israeli government.
Yesterday in Haifa, a massive drill is being held, to simulate rocket attacks from Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon who have thousands of missiles pointed at Israel. (This past Monday was the 4 year anniversary of Hezbollah rockets hitting Haifa, killing 8 Israelis.)
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton visited Israel and Egypt this week. She is warning that Jihadist terrorists could take over Egypt's Sinai desert.
As this blog is being written, news is breaking that Syria's defense minister has been killed in the ongoing civil war in that neighboring country.
And while all of this is raging in and around us... the story that motivated me to sit down and write this blog... is about an Israeli Knesset (parliament) member, proudly tearing up a copy of the New Covenant (New Testament) in front of cameras.
Knesset Member tearing New TestamentHis name is Michael Ben-Ari. He is an Orthodox Jew and a member of the National Union Party. So why did he so gleefully tear up this text that is sacred to believers in Yeshua all over the world?
Earlier this week, an organization called the Bible Society in Israel sent a copy of the complete Bible to many members of the Knesset. It was a leather-bound book with both the Tanach (Old Testament) and New Covenant published with references in Hebrew for the first time.
The Bible Society's CEO sent a letter with the Bibles stating that he is “proud to present the new publication featuring 90,000 annotations, which results from cooperation between researchers in Israel and abroad..." (Jerusalem Post)
This unsolicited gift to Israeli lawmakers caused quite a stir, to say the least. Most labeled it as the "activity of missionaries." The radical ultra-Orthodox political party, Shas, which is no friend of the Messianic Jewish community... used the event as an excuse to call for stricter laws against 'missionaries.' That's their way of saying they want it to be illegal for Messianic Jews, Christian Arabs and all believers in Yeshua to even talk about their faith here in Israel.
Knesset member Ben-Ari's response was not to pass a new law, but instead to hold a press event, where he literally tore up the Holy Scriptures. He said he was “enraged to receive the book” and used the ignorant excuse that because of this book “millions of Jews were slaughtered.”
This blogger who is 100% Jewish, with relatives who were killed in the Holocaust, and great-grandparents who fled persecution in the former Soviet Union, is in no way indifferent to the hateful persecution of my people. But to listen to so-called 'religious Jews' blame the New Covenant for Hitler's actions or others who have targeted Jews over history, is just sad and the height of ignorance.
Like it or not, the New Covenant was written by Jews. At the very least, 'it's a family thing.' That is, you cannot speak about the New Covenant and Yeshua as if it were something outside of Judaism. For whatever reason, a large number of Israeli Jews in the first century got together and wrote this book. It is worthy of discussion in modern day Israel.
To associate the New Covenant with Hitler or the Pogroms is like blaming the Declaration of Independence for the horror of American slavery. Hateful, murderous people don't need any excuse for their actions. They act as they see fit, and are motivated by one thing, and one thing only – evil.
For these Israeli lawmakers to perpetuate this ignorant stereotype is beyond disappointing to a Zionist like me, who loves his country and who prides himself on the long heritage of Jewish education and scholarly debate. This stunt, of tearing up a book, any book, is beneath the nation of Israel and the Jewish people.
I was very happy to read Israeli government spokesman Mark Regev's statement on this issue. He said, “We totally deplore this behavior and condemn it outright. This action stands in complete contrast to our values and our traditions. Israel is a tolerant society, but we have zero tolerance for this despicable and hateful act.”
Knesset speaker Reuven Rivlin said: "I condemn any disrespect of holy texts of any religion, including ripping the New Testament by an MK yesterday. Every holy book is important to its believers.”
“Democracy is the freedom of speech, but it is not anarchy, and freedom of faith and worship is one of the founding values of this country,” Rivlin added.
Even Knesset member Masud Gnaim (a Muslim) commented on the issue: “I got a copy of the New Testament in the mail, too, but I never thought to rip it up or burn it. As a Muslim, I respect all religions’ holy books.”
All these years later, Yeshua is still causing quite a stir, here in Israel. Please pray for those of us who currently call Him LORD, and those yet to come...

Terror in Bulgaria

Terror attack in BulgariaIn case you didn't hear the latest madness report, a suicide (homicide) bomber blew himself up yesterday, next to a bus full of Israeli tourists in Bulgaria. Airport security footage shows the man scouting the area around the buses waiting for the Israeli tourists for over an hour.
Dead = 7 (5 Israelis)
Injured = 34
Israel sent two military planes to retrieve the victims of the attack (living and dead), and they arrived in Israel this afternoon.
The Israeli government says it has intelligence linking Iran to this terror attack.
Let us all pray for healing for the injured, comfort for the loved ones of those killed, and for God's protection for the people of Israel.

Please, pray for Michael Ben-Ari and for the family of the victims of terror in Bulgaria!

Take Action For Israel 13

Foreign aid
House lawmakers are circulating a letter that calls on President Obama to designate the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and the National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC) as supporters of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The designation would allow the United States to impose sanctions on foreign firms that continue to do business with NIOC and NITC, Iran’s key entities for overseeing the development and shipment of oil.

The King of Jews and King of Israel

(Official video from the creator.)

Visuals set to the audio of the famous sermon "Seven Way King" (aka That's My King) as spoken by Dr. S.M. Lockridge. The audio is slightly edited for a better flow in the video.

The music in the background was performed live by the GCC band while the video played on the screens. It then led directly into the worship song "Here is Our King" (To see the performance in it's entirety go here: )

Created entirely using After Effects with footage from the movie "The Passion of the Christ". The video took 30 hours to create plus around 6 hours of rendering. The final After Effects project file totaled well over 600 layers.

Exclusive: Matt Barber defends comparison of Auschwitz to Planned Parenthood
Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a famous Lutheran Pastor German, participated of a conspiracy for kill the dictator Adolf Hitler.
I recently finished reading “Bonhoeffer” by Eric Metaxas. The book, a nearly 600-page biography of German pastor and influential theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer, was simply life-changing. Throughout his page-turning treatise, Metaxas brilliantly illustrates how Bonhoeffer lived and died by Christ’s admonition, “faith without works is dead” (James 2:20).
Although Bonhoeffer penned a number of widely read books on theology and Christian apologetics, he is chiefly remembered for his key role in one of several German conspiracies to assassinate Adolf Hitler and overthrow the Nazi regime. For this he was captured and hanged just weeks before the end of World War II.
Germany Nazi was the essence of the culture of the death.
It seems natural at this point to trek into “must read” book review territory; however, I will resist that temptation. Although “Bonhoeffer” kicked open the door to any number of theological, philosophical and political themes, it struck another cord with me entirely.
As I read of Bonhoeffer’s efforts to thwart the genocidal slaughter of millions of Jews, disabled people and other “enemies of the State,” I could not help but recognize the parallels between the vast holocaust carried out in Nazi Germany just decades ago and the modern-day holocaust ongoing within our own shores.
Whereas the Nazis were responsible for the wholesale murder of more than 6 million Jews, those today who support the practice of abortion homicide are no less complicit in the systematic slaughter of 55-million-and-counting equally precious human beings post Roe v. Wade. The parallels are undeniable and the science unequivocal. Murder is murder whatever stage of development the human victim.
The stark similarities between the two holocausts were lost on neither Dietrich Bonhoeffer nor Eric Metaxas. “Destruction of the embryo in the mother’s womb is a violation of the right to live which God has bestowed upon this nascent life,” wrote Bonhoeffer in “Ethics,” his very last book.
“To raise the question whether we are here concerned already with a human being or not is merely to confuse the issue. The simple fact is that God certainly intended to create a human being and that this nascent human being has been deliberately deprived of his life. And that is nothing but murder,” he concluded.
Indeed, Psalm 139:13 says, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”
So it occurs to me that those who call themselves “pro-life” and put faith to action in defense of innocent persons – as did Dietrich Bonhoeffer – honor both the memory of this Christian martyr and the God he served. They have picked up his mantle. They are continuing his noble work.
By contrast, if pro-lifers are modern-day Dietrich Bonhoeffers, then what does that make abortion supporters? In the years leading up to and during World War II, many Germans – who were otherwise generally good people – succumbed to Nazi propaganda and acquiesced to the horrific Jewish persecution that escalated from a slow boil to a red-hot torrent around them. In effect, they bought into exactly the same kind of dehumanizing, euphemistic semantical garbage embraced by those who today call themselves “pro-choice.”
Mind-boggling is the human capacity to rationalize genocide.
On Feb. 2, 2012, Eric Metaxas gave the keynote address at the annual National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C. He was clearly inspired and influenced by the subject of his latest biography.
Sharing the stage and sitting merely feet away was Barack Obama, the most radically pro-abortion president in U.S. history. In a spectacular show of resolve and moxie, Metaxas walked over to the president and handed him a copy of “Bonhoeffer.” He then launched into one of the most powerful and stirring speeches I’ve ever heard.
While President Obama squirmed nervously in his seat, Metaxas addressed both his book and the abortion holocaust with incisive clarity, saying, in part, “We are capable of the same horrible things. … Apart from God we cannot see that they (the unborn) are persons as well. So those of us who know the unborn to be human beings are commanded by God to love those who do not yet see that. We need to know that apart from God we would be on the other side of that divide, fighting for what we believe is right. We cannot demonize our enemies. Today, if you believe abortion is wrong, you must treat those on the other side with the love of Jesus.”
Indeed, we are admonished in Scripture to pray for our enemies – to love those who do evil.
Nonetheless, we are also commanded to speak truth. We are told to hate that which is evil and to fight – indeed to die if necessary – for that which is good.
I will, no doubt, be accused of demonizing abortion supporters by equating abortion genocide to the Nazi Holocaust. I will be charged with violating “Godwin’s law” which holds that: “As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one.”
That’s fine.
Still, my comparison is not intended to be an ad hominem attack. In fact, it’s not an attack at all. It simply is what it is. To identify the undeniable juxtaposition between the Nazi and abortion holocausts respectively is to make use of the best analogy available. I can think of no more fitting a comparison. If the shoe fits and all that.
Indeed, ours is a holocaust no less real – no less evil than that perpetrated by the Nazi regime. We’ve simply moved from the gas chambers to the abortion clinic – from Auschwitz to Planned Parenthood.
I love America. She’s the greatest nation on earth. Nonetheless, as long as we continue to allow this enduring slaughter of the most innocent among us, we are no better than was Nazi Germany. Abortion on demand will be viewed by our progeny as the single greatest blight on our American heritage.
To live under Roe v. Wade is to live in shame. To live under pro-abortion leadership is to live under the Fourth Reich.
Over 50 millions of babies in gestation already were aborted by the insane law in the United States.

Dear Friend,

We are now entering the dog days of summer as they say. However, here in Washington that doesn’t mean things are slowing down. In fact you could say that the intensity of events and news are rising with the temperature!

For the Israel Allies Foundation this is certainly true - we have been given a very exciting opportunity to address an issue that is at the very core of support for Israel.

On July 19th on Capitol Hill the Israel Allies Foundation is hosting a groundbreaking event entitled: Oslo – Twenty Years Later, Moving Past a Failed Two-State Peace Process. As you can see from the title, this event will be addressing a critical issue regarding the safety, security and future of Israel.

The fact is, there are very few organizations or leaders willing to address the issue at present. This situation has led to a scenario where the peace process and its clear failure are not even mentioned in Washington.  In this critically important time for Israel, our Foundation has decided to step forward and allow the issue to be debated in the public arena and to allow an honest discussion to take place.  It is time for our leaders to think outside of the box and we intend to provide the forum for that to take place.

We invite you all to come and participate in this historic event on July 19th from 9am till noon in the Longworth House Office Building, Room 1539.

It is an honor to stand with you as we stand together with Israel in the halls of power in our nation as well as around the globe.

With great appreciation,

Willem Griffioen

A close descendent of some of the millions of victims of the Nazi Holocaust has penned an open letter to the World Health Organization (WHO), slamming the organization for promoting the killing of unborn children in its recent abortion guide.
A new edition of the guide, “Safe abortion: technical and policy guidance for health systems,” was released this month. It details the most effective ways to kill unborn children at various stages of the unborn child’s development.

Peggy Clores' mother, survivor of Auschwitz, and her father, a WWII Sergeant.
Speaking to the WHO, Peggy “Lennon” Clores of Huntington, New York writes that there is no doubt that a unborn child is human, and says: “like Hitler, you hide the evidence from the world and from your heart.”
Clores’ grandparents were killed at Auschwitz, while her mother famously survived the infamous concentration camp thanks to her musical talent: she was recruited by the Nazis to play in an orchestra in the camp.
She also criticizes the WHO for continuing to recommend abortion despite the evidence showing the physical and psychological effects that abortion has on women.
“Women deserve better,” she writes, saying “A ‘health’ organization cannot justify crimes against humanity.”
“This is beyond appalling and the extermination of human life has superceded Hitler’s crimes against humanity to incomprehensible proportions. 1.5 million lives ended annually each year in the United States alone since 1973.”
The WHO’s abortion guide includes estimates on unsafe abortion worldwide, the latest clinical recommendations to perform abortions, recommendations for “scaling up” services, and advice on policymaking and legislation.
Clores asks the WHO to “end the madness.”
“In defense of all women and in memory of my grandparents exterminated in Auschwitz Concentration Camp, I urge you to live up to your responsibility to humanity and to your name. I urge your hearts and minds to confront the atrocities and end the deadening and rationalizations of your consciences.
“I urge you to confront the reality of your ‘health’ counsel,” she concludes.

While Adolf Hitler killed 6 millions of Jews (without count others kinds of people that he also killed), abortion killed over 40 millions of humans before was born (counting barely the abortions in the United States).
Abortion is the modern Holocaust that super all the atrocities of Hitler. I don't see difference between nazis killing Jews, and women and doctors aborting innocent humans.
But we are able to do our part signing the petitions down, for we fight against this modern Holocaust.
