EVENT 2:
Dear Friend,

We are now entering the dog days of summer as they say. However, here in Washington that doesn’t mean things are slowing down. In fact you could say that the intensity of events and news are rising with the temperature!

For the Israel Allies Foundation this is certainly true - we have been given a very exciting opportunity to address an issue that is at the very core of support for Israel.

On July 19th on Capitol Hill the Israel Allies Foundation is hosting a groundbreaking event entitled: Oslo – Twenty Years Later, Moving Past a Failed Two-State Peace Process. As you can see from the title, this event will be addressing a critical issue regarding the safety, security and future of Israel.

The fact is, there are very few organizations or leaders willing to address the issue at present. This situation has led to a scenario where the peace process and its clear failure are not even mentioned in Washington.  In this critically important time for Israel, our Foundation has decided to step forward and allow the issue to be debated in the public arena and to allow an honest discussion to take place.  It is time for our leaders to think outside of the box and we intend to provide the forum for that to take place.

We invite you all to come and participate in this historic event on July 19th from 9am till noon in the Longworth House Office Building, Room 1539.

It is an honor to stand with you as we stand together with Israel in the halls of power in our nation as well as around the globe.

With great appreciation,

Willem Griffioen
