WATCH NOW: With gratitude to Hashem and to my partners 12 Tribe Films and Nefesh B’Nefesh I present to you the premiere episode of Joy of Israel with Jamie Geller, the highly anticipated food and travel series and sequel to the Joy of Aliyah documentary. Because you asked for it and because we heard you, this first episode will show you a slice of every day life, a part of Israel that doesn’t get much press and a dish that’s a far cry from falafel and hummus… Poyke! (Although hubby calls it Hokee Pokee!) “What is Poyke?” you ask, just watch and learn. And by the way, for the record my kids were NOT unbuckled and standing while I was driving, I was parked at the time, that I would NEVER allow  .

Join me and my family the first Tuesday of every month as our aliyah adventure continues. The Joy of Israel with Jamie Geller is my new food and travel show and will follow our adventures as new Olim. Together with you, we will explore the wonderful land of Israel, the place we now call home.

Dear Joseph , As we write this letter, Israel needs unwavering friends to stand and speak up on her behalf more than ever. From Cairo to Beirut, from Gaza to Damascus, and from Ramallah to Tehran, the Jewish people are surrounded by enemies who seek to destroy them. These are truly dark and dangerous days for our ally Israel. We must take our place as "watchmen on the wall" ready to defend Israel as mandated by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. (Isaiah 61:6). In order to constantly remind us what the Word of God commands, we have designed a beautiful CUFI mezuzah. A "mezuzah" is a small box which Jewish families typically affix on their front doors. Inside the box is a scroll containing the Lord's declaration found in Deuteronomy 6:4-9; 11:13-21.		The CUFI mezuzah is not only a daily reminder of the importance of the Word of God; it is a public declaration of solidarity with Israel and the Jewish people. We encourage you to mount a CUFI mezuzah on the entry doors of your home. Affixing a CUFI mezuzah to your doorpost sends a message to everyone entering your home that your household serves the Lord, stands with Israel and prays for the peace of Jerusalem. Every symbol on this unique mezuzah has special meaning. Since CUFI members are watchman on the walls of Jerusalem, the top of the mezuzah displays the Eastern Gate of the Old City of Jerusalem. The American and Israeli flags symbolize the importance of the US-Israel alliance. And finally the Chai (חי) means "life" in Hebrew. CUFI praises God that the people of Israel live and thrive in the Promised Land and we also pray for long, healthy and productive lives for you and your loved ones.
Your support enables us to continue our vital mission of standing with Israel and the Jewish people. We are the largest pro-Israel organization in the United States. We serve nearly 1.3 million members and conduct over 40 pro-Israel events every month throughout the nation because of your faithful financial commitment and support. The Hebrew word for life -"Chai"- is associated with the number 18 in Jewish tradition. The Jewish people often give donations in multiples of 18 to give "the gift of life." Therefore, we will send a CUFI mezuzah for you to place on the doorpost of your home for a gift of $36 or more. The number 36 represents "double chai" or "double life."
