The
House on May 17 passed a resolution (H. Res. 568) by a resounding vote
of 401-11 affirming that it is U.S. policy to prevent Iran from
acquiring a nuclear weapons capability and opposing any reliance on a
policy seeking to contain a nuclear-capable Iran. A similar resolution
in the Senate (S. Res. 380) remains pending.

SUPPORT ISRAEL:
Friend,
My friend, the reality for Israel’s poor is
devastating. One out of three children is living in poverty and will
have to a skip meal because their families don’t have enough to eat.
The elderly — including Holocaust survivors — can’t even afford basic
necessities like food, shelter and medicine. Please, seize this opportunity to care for these desperately needy people by giving the most generous gift you can to The Fellowship’s 2012 Helping Hands Campaign.
We can make a meaningful and profound difference in the lives of thousands of destitute people living in the Holy Land, today.
With prayers for shalom, peace,
Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein
President
